The Bright Side of Memory
Development of a participatory handbook to promote innovative forms of remembrance.
Why commemorate? When we said ‘never again’, what was it about exactly? How to commemorate: what was the right balance between emotion and reflection? In short, how did we make avant-garde memory? Memory was an important element of collective identity and it was essential not to abandon it to conservative or reactionary movements. Together, we worked on a toolkit that can inspire other young people to take initiatives in their everyday environment.
