Youth4Peace Workshops
As diverse as young people are, as diverse is their way of engagement and participation. Some might feel more comfortable with content-driven discussions, others might be seeking a more creative approach to express their ideas, demands and feelings.
Allowing every participant to choose a form of engagement they can identify themselves best with, was one of the core principles of “Youth4Peace”. It resulted in eight different workshops, addressing a broad spectrum of topics like commemoration, inclusion, youth participation or peace-storytelling. The participants were distributed by their personal preferences, assuring the workshops to align with their past engagement and personal interests and beliefs.
Their intensive, week-long engagement within their workshop groups and with their topics resulted not only in a variety of creative and precious outcomes with alternative approaches, but gave them a lot of impressions and moments of self-reflection to take with them for the future.
